puppy 101
In home sessions with family 60 – 90 min.
Puppy training includes: house breaking, crate training, diet and food manners, grooming desensitization and handling, recall – coming when called, gate and door control, correct leash and walking skills, how to socialize successfully. Management of jumping up, counter surfing, mouthing, play biting, chewing and digging. Cues: sit, down, wait, stay, leave it, drop it, off, place, touch, here, cross, look, with me or let’s go. Done in home and as the puppy advances to stores or parks. May have custom cues depending on puppy behavior and your needs.
obedience
In home sessions with family 60 – 90 min.
This training service is for dogs past the puppy stage that need help with obedience cues. Can be any combination of behaviors including training to pass the Good Citizens test if that is your goal. Done in your home, as well as at store or parks if you would like to work on behaviors outside the home.
behavior modification
In home sessions with family 60 – 90 min.
This training is for a specific behavior or two that is requiring work. Many times and older dog will have the basic skills but might be unable to leash walk, or might be reactive to something specific. Reactive dogs require desensitization and counter conditioning to new, productive behaviors. This training is tailored to your dog’s specific needs.

Training isn’t ‘One Size Fits All’.
Training walks are done alone or with family. Will learn: sitting at door, not jumping on people, leash walking skills, sit or lay down when stopping to talk to neighbors, not to bark at dogs or people. Hour walk can be done as part of immersion training at parks or shopping centers. Cues learned; sit, down, stay, wait, leave it, let’s go, cross. Possible other cues depending on the dog. (Session are 40min or 1hr duration)
4 Sessions a week, 1hr 30min each. 3 sessions done in home without you. 4th session scheduled with family to go over training and behavior learned. Similar to “Board & Train” model, except the dog will be able to learn in their home enviornment. Will cover all beahviors and cues of puppy training, obedience, and leash walking.
3 to 5 hour session done outside of the home. Will work on a variety of obedience behaviors, leash walking, socialization, parks or shopping centers, games and enrichment activities. These sessions are tailored to your dog and what you would like your dog to work on. We will customize a plan specific to your dog’s needs and the duration of the session. (Pricing varies upon duration.)
There are lots of exciting skills for you dog to learn, scent training, agility, games, puzzles, and exercise. Sessions are 30min to 1hr. Up to 2 dogs per session.
